Care shaped around your life.
Alicia combines a client-centered relationship with tools from EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused CBT, and play therapy techniques. The approach is chosen together, with your needs and goals in mind.
Anxiety & stress
Racing thoughts, panic, and persistent stress can affect how you sleep, connect, and move through the day. Therapy can help you explore patterns, understand triggers, and practice coping tools that fit everyday situations.
Trauma & EMDR
Alicia has experience in trauma-focused settings and is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Together, you can discuss distressing experiences, your goals, and whether EMDR or another trauma-focused approach is appropriate. Preparation, questions, and readiness are part of that conversation.
Depression, grief & loss
Low mood, loss, and a sense of disconnection can look different for everyone. Sessions offer room to talk about your experience, notice patterns, and work toward manageable goals. Grief does not need to follow a prescribed timeline.
Children & adolescents
For younger clients, Alicia draws on play therapy techniques and trauma-focused CBT, adapting the work to age and needs. Discuss your child’s concerns and the suitability of telehealth before beginning care.
Life transitions & relationships
A shift in roles, relationships, or identity can leave you unsure of what comes next. Individual therapy can help you explore what matters to you and how you want to respond. This is individual support for relationship concerns; couples or family therapy is not listed as a service here.
Tools serve the person.
